Do we need to take calcium magnesium or any supplements when fasting?
Absolutely not!The purpose of the fast is to give the body a rest from any digestion and assimilation duties. Therefore, anything with any nutritive value, anything that requires chewing, activation of saliva and the creation of stomach acids, etc., must be stopped for the duration of the fast. The supplements have vitamins and minerals that would stop the fasting process.

What prep must be done before starting a fast?

Tip: Nourish first, THEN detox/fast. So, you may wish to do a few days of supplementation and green juices BEFORE the fast so that your body can have reserves during the fast.

No other prep necessary except the mental determination.

Tip: get someone to do the fast with you if possible!
